Read For

Our uniquely structured Read for Success (RFS) phonics programme nurtures 4 to 6 year olds to read fluently and expressively.

Research shows that structured reading programmes are more effective in teaching children who are ready to start learning how to read. However, most kindergartens and even parents teach phonics and reading incidentally. Children learn sound in isolation and there is little connection to previously taught on upcoming sounds. The hallmark of our phonics-based programme is that we teach phonics explicitly in a clear sequence, starting with the basic sounds and progressing to more complex ones. Furthermore, as not all English words are phonics-based, we incorporate the use of high frequency words that will build children’s confidence in learning how to read.

The variety of interactive and fun activities will keep our students engaged throughout their learning and enable them to build confidence when expressing themselves.
