P1 Headstart (English)

P1 Headstart (English) is a continuation from the RFS Programme and focuses on giving our students a headstart for primary school. The programme lays a strong foundation in the English language by teaching students the essential skills of grammar, comprehension and writing.
Even at this young age, students are taught a variety of comprehension skills like looking for inferences, references and answering different types of comprehension questions. Weekly classroom and home exercises provide the necessary practices, reviews and reinforcements needed by young children for effective learning.
Our students will also be exposed to a wide range of vocabulary and coached on how and when to use them. Combined with the exposure to basic writing skills, they will attain competence in writing and approach Primary 1 English with confidence and enthusiasm
