P1 Headstart (English)
P1 Headstart (English) is a continuation from the RFS Programme and focuses on giving our students a headstart for primary school. The programme lays a strong foundation in the English language by teaching students the essential skills of grammar, comprehension and writing.
Even at this young age, students learn a variety of comprehension skills like looking for inferences, references and answering different types of comprehension questions.
Our students will also be exposed to a wide range of vocabulary, and coached on how and when to use them. Combined with the exposure to basic writing skills, they will attain competence in writing and approach Primary 1 English with confidence and enthusiasm.

Our programme focuses on the building blocks of a sentence (part of speech) to equip students with a strong foundation in grammar.
Sentence to Story
Our programme equips students with sound knowledge to form grammatical sentences and progresses to writing stories in four paragraphs.
