At Learning Point, we believe the spirit of scientific inquiry can be introduced and engaged in at any age. For this reason, we offer a Young Science Explorers’ programme for Primary 2 students, ahead of the formal curriculum in Primary 3.
Through interactive in-class activities, students gain early exposure to key Science concepts, allowing them to enjoy the process of learning while developing a solid foundation that sets them ahead of their peers when they enter Primary 3.
Young Science Explorers introduces students to various themes in the Science curriculum, including Diversity, Systems, Cycles, Interactions, and Energy. Students will have plenty of opportunities to make connections between in-class learning and the real world, while developing basic scientific process skills.
These include classifying, comparing and analysing data in the form of tables and graphs. They will also learn how to apply their newly acquired knowledge in answering questions using appropriate answering techniques.
